the metal plate is not useless it's for engins with dephaser camshaft gear like megane 2 or in case you want to unscrew the gear to change the camshaft gear oilseal

That is not a single flare … it is called a bubble flare. A single flare would just be a double flare that has not been folded onto itself.

Thanks for vid. I have disappearing oil in 1.4 KFV - 54kW engine and so far the guess is headgasket gone. Looking at the your vid seems that when this is done it seems also oil pump should be replaced. What are your thoughts about oil cooler - are they reliable or should be replaced as well? Everybody tells me the same - its not worth of fixing, but car/engine has only 70 000, so I think if well taken care of it will run for long as it is (I guess) mechanically very simple engine. What are your thoughts - am I wrong?

I like the Video, now i understand the difference between DIN and SAE. Now the question for me is: can U can make double DIN Flares when the Car has normaly SAE flares, if u use the right nippels with the same threading as before (but the DIN Flare) right? Or does the fitting cause seal problems with the flare on the car adapter Whats with professional Tools also suitable for steel Lines? Like Geodore 234001 for DIN, or Hazet 2191/12K. I think its worth spending the 300 Euros to get a quality Tool for something this important.

Great video. Going through this hell at the moment changing ball joint C3. Just can't get new one back in place. Spent hours and hours. Anybody know the name the jack used to lift brake disc? Is it something special? Just keeps slipping off or going out of alignment.

All in all good video. But considering today's standards, it contains major mistake: you shall NOT put any grease (and especially not copper grease) on wheel hub! If the old brake rotors can be easily removed, just clean the hub properly with rust removal disc plugged to your drill or angle grinder. If they go after fight, you might spray the hub very lightly with ceramic grease (mind you, this is voiding any warrantly claims for your rotors - improper installation). And minor thing, 12:45 using screwdriver is cumbersome AF. 1) Start mounting back the caliper from BOTTOM side. 2) When you have it in such position, tap the caliper lightly with rubber/small hammer and it will pop into correct position in no time..
